The Smitty Place

The Smitty Place, Leavenworth's newest and most convenient Bed and Breakfast, offers 2 bedrooms, living room, dining room, full bath, kitchen with breakfast nook, and the West Wing (read: mud room) in an independent dwelling. Completely restored in 2008, The Smitty Place features a Master Bedroom with king-size bed, a second bedroom with two twin beds, a completely furnished Living room and dining room, full bath, and a full-size kitchen, with breakfast nook, dishwasher, microwave, plus the usual kitchen appliances. The West Wing provides a large transition area from outside to inside. Being pet-friendly, we also offer and eighth of an acre fenced in back yard plus 6' by 12' enclosed dog kennel, across the paved driveway. The Smitty Place is at 809 North 13th Street, just around the corner from The Sommer House, and offers wi-fi and hard wire high speed internet hookups, cable TV, telephone and a DVD player.
